Hello

After nearly 15 years of working with people in a relationship building sales environment my story took a quick and unexpected turn. The pandemic forced many brick and mortar stores to close, and mine was one of them. I saw this new chapter of my life as an opportunity to pursue one of my biggest passions: art, and spent my days studying light, color, perspective, figure, and form.

 

I enjoyed it but always felt like something was missing. Sitting alone in front of a canvas or computer screen was isolating and just wasn't for me. I needed engagement, conversation, and collaboration. I needed to work with people! I found the perfect combination in photography. With photography I can still use my knowledge of color science to set a mood. I can frame an environment so it too becomes a character with a story to tell. I can play with angles and pose a subject to enhance a feeling. With a camera I can still create art. But now I can create art with others. I can once again build relationships and converse, and collaborate. This is where I was meant to be.

 

It has been a few years since this chapter of my life started. It has by far been the most exciting and rewarding chapter to date, and I look forward to writing more of it each day.
